Eastern Railroad Discussion > Mendota, Ill.?

While on the California Zephyr heading to Truckee I thought I saw a RR museum at Mendota. I was in the diner at the time and I got a passing glance at it. Being a volunteer on a tourist line I like to stop by these museums and get ideas and also to say thank you to the people who take the time and effort to save RR history and equipment. Any information would be appreciated, it looks like this would be on my way to Rochelle. Thanks and have a good and safe day.
