Date: 11/25/01 11:08 RE: Western Maryland SD80MAC Author: csx6574 First of all, the colors are wrong for the WM and secondly, an SD80MAC is an EMD not a GE. The IC had white and orange ALCO's so I don't think a little smoke would hurt it.

This is all futuristic (sp.?) as if the WM had survived in the 21st century. I'm sure their paint scheme would've evolved into something different by now. L.G. Date: 11/25/01 20:35 RE: Western Maryland SD80MAC Author: csx6574 I was just getting ready to say that it looked like the SWP paint scheme. I was just being a nit picker in my earlier response. I was not trying to be mean spirited. Yes, the WM probably would have changed paint schemes by now but a "circus" SD80MAC would indeed be nice.

But I think its imperative to stick with the well-known schemes that are normally attributed to them. What you've created could be a Wabash, Virginian, Western Pacific, New Haven, Atlanta & West Point - there is no rhyme or reason why it would be a WM unit. |
