Looks more like a N&W. How about simply black and yellow?

First of all, the colors are wrong for the WM and secondly, an SD80MAC is an EMD not a GE. The IC had white and orange ALCO's so I don't think a little smoke would hurt it.

No kidding. The colors are not supposed to match a scheme they had. This is all futuristic (sp.?) as if the WM had survived in the 21st century. I'm sure their paint scheme would've evolved into something different by now.

I was just getting ready to say that it looked like the SWP paint scheme. I was just being a nit picker in my earlier response. I was not trying to be mean spirited. Yes, the WM probably would have changed paint schemes by now but a "circus" SD80MAC would indeed be nice.

I enjoy seeing talented "what-ifs" of late model locomotives as they might have appeared. But I think its imperative to stick with the well-known schemes that are normally attributed to them.

What you've created could be a Wabash, Virginian, Western Pacific, New Haven, Atlanta & West Point - there is no rhyme or reason why it would be a WM unit.
