Watch the sky in the background change as the aperture of the camera changes due to the colors of the cars. Fascinating.

Probably had more power than that when it left Cumberland. That train changes its makeup several times between Cumberland and Russell. GRS

Typical power leaving Cumberland is at the minimum two C44s. It is common for Q317 to have deadhead equipment for Grafton and west in the consist. Those two units would never be able to pull that train up Seventeen Mile, Cranberry, Cheat, etc without any help.

I've seen that in Charleston back in 94, a switcher and a geep with almost a mile of freight, sure helps when the area is flat too!
