Are there any near the Durand Union Station? Thanks.

I don't recall any downtown near the train station, but I believe there is a Quality Inn or something along those lines near the Durand exit from I-69. I'm sure you can find a usual assortment of chain hotels near the Flint, MI airport, which is about 15 miles east on I-69.

Agree. Nothing whatsoever near the tracks. One chain motel near the local I-69 interchange and a mom-and-pop on Lansing Road northeast of town.

I would suggest the Sunset Motel at 9810 East Lansing Road, Durand, MI. My stay there was A-OK. You can hear CN blowing for grade crossings off in the distance, especially nice at night.
