The last 2 from the Tunnel Hill overlook are nice, and you did not get 'pinched' while at AR.

Green Frog has some footage from Tunnel Hill in the beginning of it's Pennsy film taken by in the 50s with less overgrowth, sharks (both the freight a passenger versions), F units, Passenger trains, etc.

Yes. I've often thought that east facing slope, behind the one time Ericuliani's (?) restaurant, would make a superb railfan platform. There are a number of artifacts on the hillside from the one time "portage" of the Pennsylvania Company's canal boats on the slope. The "new Portage tunnel" put the old portage out of business.


Note the convoy of ATV riders on the left side of the picture. ATVs are frequently in the area.

The NS police were hot on their tail, as I shot from above the tunnel.

Have slides (somewhere) of said tower in operation
with a pair of A uunit helpers on the track to the right of the tower
waiting for clearance to return down the hill. Think that slide was dated 1965.
One of these days, one of these days...
