Eastern Railroad Discussion > Bicycle Foamers and their camcorder?Date: 04/20/14 07:49 Bicycle Foamers and their camcorder? Author: Deshlerrailfan Thinking of getting a GoPro Hero3+ Black Edition for use on the bicycle and foaming. In 2 years I've hit every RR (3 total) in a 15 radius of home. If I extent that to 20 miles there are 2 NS lines I can hit. I'd also ride the old B&O Bowling Green (Ohio) sub with it, as it is a bike trail now. Anyone use this camera?

If you intend to film in mostly HD, the battery will not last but 30 minutes on a full charge. Highly frustrating, although there are lots of third party "solutions" out there on how to provide better power options. Date: 04/20/14 08:38 Re: Bicycle Foamers and their camcorder? I planned on a spare battery and can charge multiple USB devices while riding... Mostly I just like catching the wild life I see while riding, or a dumb ass motorist. Highest HD would usually just be trackside at the turn around point. BTW I forgot about a NS Branch line in that same radius but seeing something would be highly unlikely.
