Eastern Railroad Discussion > Any updates on the UP 2002 Olympic engine?

I am in western Ohio right now and was wondering if it's coming west yet.

planned for Q01524 not called yet out of Chambersburg yet and is supposed to drop the CSXT 7831 in Cumberland for problem fixing. The 7831 is the sole reason why 2002 was added in Cleveland when Q161 was going west the other night and lost the 7831 as working power.

Q015 is usually a daylight train INTO North Baltimore, but I don't know you can rely on it getting out of there before sunset.

Plus the 2002 is trailing now, anyway.

I believe Q015 is an evening departure from C-burg, so Q015-24 would be scheduled to leave this evening.

You are correct. After I got home, I heard them working in the yard on the scanner - putting the train together I believe.
