Here is NS 173, southbound by Kannapolis, NC, today at about 1:30PM. UP 4567, a winged SD70M, leads a big consist of NS power.

Train 173 frequently carries local power back south on Sunday afternoon. Six of these units will be set off at Charlotte for use on locals based out of that yard during the week.

As I write this at 2:35PM, 173 is working at Charlotte.
