Eastern Railroad Discussion > FEC in St. AugustineDate: 07/24/14 07:02 FEC in St. Augustine Author: Ohiorailfan I may be going to Florida in a couple weeks. I will have a free day to Railfan. My goal is to catch some FEC action. What time or times are the best at St. Augustine? I would
like to catch at least 3 FEC trains. Thanks Posted from Android Date: 07/24/14 07:14 Re: FEC in St. Augustine Author: biff Monday through Friday, be at St. Augustine at sunrise and you will have an excellent chance to get northbound 224 and 226. 224 is usually first in the 0700-0800 range followed by the 226 0800-0900. Train 210 will also pass through around noon, plus or minus. Next up will be 101 that normally gets to St. Augustine 1330-1430. Train 107 can be seen around 1800-1830. There is also a local that may be seen but that depends on what work they have.

Posted from iPhone Date: 07/24/14 07:30 Re: FEC in St. Augustine Author: toledopatch Saturday morning you'd still get the 224 and 226 first thing, and 210 around lunchtime (can't say much for the lighting at that time of day), but 101 leaves Bowden later more like 1400-1500, which would be better for light angles anyway.
