An Aerial Vid Of Pavonia Enginehouse
Author: Out_Of_Service

first off bare with me here ... this is my first video with the quad drone so it's a little shaky ... i fly using my cell phone as my cam viewer and the heavy glare when it's sunny makes it difficult for me to see what i'm viewing at times ... i need to get some sort of bellows or shadow box to cover the cell phone screen

vid and a couple stills of the south end of Pavonia in Camden,NJ with the enginehouse and a remote crew working the bowl tracks in the vid

Interesting pics. The first one looks like a model railroad.
What resolution are the originals?

I like it. Of course, you planned the River Line MU's as well as the NS units to pass simultaneously...

i don't know ... this is right out of the box and up in the air ... i'll have to check the settings on that

HA !!! i'm not that good to plan any kind of meets but the Tooterville Trolley runs on 1/2 hr schedules so it's very likely a NJT RLT would appear in one direction or the other

Really nice video, I enjoyed it from what I can see all you have to do is practice feathering your controls or as I tell my self
go slow the slower the better especially at those heights. Boy I wish I had a FPV, maybe later. That is the best way go up and sit
then rotate very slowly, really good first time will be looking forward to more.

thanks Alan ... yes the FPV is really cool but i have to figure out hoe to cut the glare on the cell phone screen on a bright sunny day ... i have another vid but the file is too big for TOs and it won't upload ... yeah i have to learn to feather the flight toggle when it's in the air ... i was really nervous because i was over an area that was off limits if the drone went down ...

Interesting pictures but the extreme distortion because of the wide angle is annoying - can that be adjusted?

i wasn't watching my altimeter John ... i was so nervous flying that far away from me for the first time ... i was about 400 ft away and about 150-200 in height

OOS:

I have a Phantom 2 with a GoPro on a ZenMuse gimbal. I just bought the "First Person Video" kit and use it with a Marshall 5-inch monitor.

In my limited use so far, I've discovered that the Phantom platform smooths out when moving forward or backward.
