Eastern Railroad Discussion > Owego and Harford Rwy, UboatsDate: 07/27/14 14:52 Owego and Harford Rwy, Uboats Author: ns2557 Went north thru the Owego Ny area this afternoon. Found these beauties here. U Boats, still active ones. Gotta be few and far btwn, esp since the GA Central retired theirs. Can't find info on the history of this one, the OHRY 2211. But the 2302 is originally CR 2794, making it in the group of the last UBoats built. Shot today in Owego Ny., July 27 2014. Ben

Try L&N #2814/P&W #2210/CSX #3315 for the lineage of that motor. Date: 07/27/14 15:16 Re: Owego and Harford Rwy, Uboats Author: ns2557 494 Wrote:

And yes, I do travel abit. Usually 450-600 miles a day. Gets me around to see things, and I get paid to do it, to boot. Just wish I could be at home more than I am. Thanks for the comments. Take care, stay safe, be well. Ben Date: 07/27/14 15:27 Re: Owego and Harford Rwy, Uboats Author: Lackawanna484 The 2302 spent some time in Pittston PA, on sister line Luzerne & Susquehanna.
The Lehigh Line railroads have benefited immensely from the fracking boom, they're right in it. Their group HQ is in the old station at the O&H yard.
