A few odds and ends I haven't had time to post from this summer from around the Pittsburgh area:
1. NS 554, with a eclectic combo of the Reading Heritage unit and a UP rolls past a MOW gang working on the massive OC Bridge at CP ISLE.
2 & 3: Train races in East Pittsburgh: NS 26T and the URR 66 Crew make a slow speed race up the Turtle Creek valley in East Pittsburgh, with the massive USS Edgar Thomson works in the background.

4. Looking all the world like its someplace in northern Ontario, CN 5422 hustles empty coal hoppers south on the former B&LE at Oneida, PA, just north of Butler.
5. Just yesterday, CSX Q368 rolls through Pittsburgh's West End towards a meet behind CR Heritage 8098. That weed grown structure in the background is the remains of the abandoned W&LE West End branch.
6. Also from yesterday, AVR's AVR-3 job rolls past the restored B&O depot in Washington PA, heading for its next stop, VBat Plastics on the west side of town.

Good as always Mike, the two yellow units on the Union RR are they new paint job or out siders? Have safe trip to Charleston, super place...Don.....

They are Union RR units. They switched to Red & Yellow about 3 or 4 years ago,, but, painting has been slow.
