Interstate leading 10N East. And a Hi-Nose
Author: EH49

I caught the Interstate heritage unit leading 2 CP's on 10N through Creighton, Pa. this afternoon on the Conemaugh line. The train was delayed at SHARP for about a hour as the train ahead of him (16N)got stopped by a detector. This is one time such a delay actually helped as it gave the sun a chance to get into a more favorable position.

A few hours earlier, after waiting about 2 1/2 hours to get the track due to traffic, the local was finally able to get out of West Tarentum yard to run about 10 miles East to Kiski. Today he had a high nose GP38-2 on the West end.

Whoah, they washed it... last time I saw it, the creamsicle was almost black from coal service.

Yes it was rather clean! However, the 2 trailing CP units are filthy.

Nice looking unit. 10N to 32A is a fairly frequent next move, we can hope it happens.
