Eastern Railroad Discussion > Interstate leading 10N East. And a Hi-NoseDate: 08/19/14 13:40 Interstate leading 10N East. And a Hi-Nose Author: EH49 I caught the Interstate heritage unit leading 2 CP's on 10N through Creighton, Pa. this afternoon on the Conemaugh line. The train was delayed at SHARP for about a hour as the train ahead of him (16N)got stopped by a detector. This is one time such a delay actually helped as it gave the sun a chance to get into a more favorable position.
A few hours earlier, after waiting about 2 1/2 hours to get the track due to traffic, the local was finally able to get out of West Tarentum yard to run about 10 miles East to Kiski. Today he had a high nose GP38-2 on the West end. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/19/14 15:08 by EH49. Date: 08/19/14 14:04 Re: Interstate leading 10N East.
