Our meeting this month is on the 4th Sat to coincide with the Everett Nelson Train Show which will be held at Marion depot from 10-4 on Aug 23. Slide shows will start in the baggage room at approx 7 pm and will feature Dan Dover of Extra 2200 South fame. Dan's show will feature Burlington diesels for all you fans of Chinese Red. I will also be showing slides, probably some old stuff (1980's) from my collection. There should be time for a free for all so please bring some stuff to show. We can accommodate slides or digital.

All railfans are welcome at our meetings. There's no dues but donations are appreciated, and put to good use in maintaining the tower and depot so we can continue to enjoy both for many years to come.

Join us before the meeting at the Shovel Restaurant next to the depot for dinner and railroad talk. We usually start congregating there about 5:30.
