As always Ed, you are the "official T.O. ambassador" for NE PA. Your coverage is timely and thorough and interesting... Keep up the good work.
Did the live steamer operate on a loop or point to point?

Ed; Any truth to the rumor that the turntable is out of service?

Thanks for sharing Ed. Very nice. I wish I could have been there. Doesn't look like a big crowd.

Not rumor - definitely out of service all summer. It has been repainted and is awaiting new deck and some mechanical repairs
One of the reasons this Railfest had less visiting equipment.

Not covered in Ed's photos was one of the highlights which is CNJ 1554 pulling two authentic CNJ coaches on the shuttle train. A very nice looking train! The 1554 was borrowed from the DL for service this weekend only, so this is not usual fare at Steamtown.

The turntable is out of service. It was in new paint but no deck.

Ed, great coverage. I didn't get there until 1pm or so and the parking lot was packed. Lots of families taking the train ride and the shop tour.
