I caught that same KCS pair on 26T but it had an NS Dash9 leading on 9/3 out of 55th St yard in Chicago

and what in the world was that last train, stacks, autos, stacks and then junk... not your typical NS train. That's usually how the CP runs their trains, just a whole bunch of whatever as long as it makes a train up and its all going in the same direction

NS no longer runs dedicated intermodal /autorack trains in or out of New Orleans. That traffic is now tacked onto manifest trains 314/355.

i know back in the day,2002 thru 2005,when i was out filming the ags south district between birmingham and meridian,i saw 22r northbound and 22q southbound like that,racks and stacks with general freight tacked onto the rear. it was not very often,1 or 2 times.
