Eastern Railroad Discussion > Which NS N.Carolina line is now a trail?Date: 07/24/02 10:46 Which NS N.Carolina line is now a trail? Author: richs Did NS recently abandon a ROW in Eastern North Carolina? If so, any SE fans know where? Also was this in the planning for quite some time, before the formation of the East Carolin Business Unit?
Thanks, RichS Date: 07/24/02 12:24 Re: Which NS N.Carolina line is now a trail? Author: zebulonyard I live in Eastern N.C. and have not heard or read
of any recent abandonments. I doubt any abandonments are likely in the near future. Date: 07/24/02 12:44 Re: Which NS N.Carolina line is now a trail? Author: bl2 Most recent is the line from O&H junction (Oxford) to Henderson. Has that been made into a bike trail????
