Can someone tell me what the actual reporting mark is for the ConnDOT units (like the 228)?

Can someone tell me what the actual reporting mark is for the ConnDOT units (like the 228)? I have listed them in my notes as CDOT but I know that's not a proper reporting mark since ConnDOT is not a common carrier.

99% certain it is actually MNCR 228, but that last 1% always makes me nervous
