PRR Memories and Color on Q339
Author: CGTower

We've been blessed with some nice days here in Northwest Ohio. That said, its time for doom and gloom for the weekend!

Anyway, sarcasm aside, a few interesting items to note.

Photo 1: CSX transfer run sits at the CF&E Cole Street Yard in Lima, Ohio. The GP38-2, GP40-2 and GP15T are an interesting lash up. The former PRR is a shell of its glory years. The signal serves as the approach signal to the CSX diamonds at NS Tower near Lima's downtown.

Photo 2: Q339 has quite the eclectic lashup as it roars out of the siding at Ottawa, Ohio.

Odd to see the GP15T in the lash-up. Thought CSX kept them in captive service at Queensgate yard and Barr yard except for mandatory inspections?

Good stuff CG! That CF&E transfer looks pretty healthy.
