Eastern Railroad Discussion > PRR Memories and Color on Q339Date: 09/18/14 18:32 PRR Memories and Color on Q339 Author: CGTower We've been blessed with some nice days here in Northwest Ohio. That said, its time for doom and gloom for the weekend!
Anyway, sarcasm aside, a few interesting items to note. Photo 1: CSX transfer run sits at the CF&E Cole Street Yard in Lima, Ohio. The GP38-2, GP40-2 and GP15T are an interesting lash up. The former PRR is a shell of its glory years. The signal serves as the approach signal to the CSX diamonds at NS Tower near Lima's downtown. Photo 2: Q339 has quite the eclectic lashup as it roars out of the siding at Ottawa, Ohio. Thought CSX kept them in captive service at Queensgate yard and Barr yard except for mandatory inspections?
