Eastern Railroad Discussion > What happened to NS8739??Date: 09/19/14 16:29 What happened to NS8739?? Author: dschlegel Just saw it trailing the 1115 headed east on the Reading line on an intermodal. It looked like the pair on the conductor's side of the long hood had burned away.
Does anyone know what happened? Thanks! Dan Posted from iPhone Date: 09/19/14 16:36 Re: What happened to NS8739?? Author: NSDash9 Date: 09/19/14 17:58 Re: What happened to NS8739?? Author: dschlegel NSDash9 Wrote:

Many were stored for a while and were probably up for retirement before the current traffic surge forced them back into service.
