Here is westbound NS train I1E rolling down Attica Hill through Attica NY this afternoon with NS 1072, the Illinois Terminal heritage unit leading the train. This train normally would run the former PRR through Pennsylvania but do to a wreck at Altoona it was routed through New York state on the former Erie Lackawanna/Conrail line now part of the NS southern tier route from Binghamton to Buffalo. After reaching Buffalo it will continue west on the former Nickel Plate toward Cleveland.
