Eastern Railroad Discussion > GLC 399 and 395 come up the Holly Sub at Durand, MIDate: 09/24/14 10:26 GLC 399 and 395 come up the Holly Sub at Durand, MI Author: jkh2cpu GLC called the CN dispatcher in Homewood, IL wanting to cross the CN main at
Durand. The DS said OK, but first GLC would need to wait for CN 371 to finish working the yard. That took maybe 45 minutes due to the complication of setting out two bad order cars. CN 371 finally got out of the way, and GLC could come up the Holly Sub from PITT (Pittsburg Road on the outskirts of Durand). We watch as GLC 399 and 395 roll up the Holly and pass by the Durand, MI Depot in mid afternoon lighting. Soon these colors will really be glorious. John.
