Eastern Railroad Discussion > few from the Crescent City . .Date: 10/01/14 15:50 few from the Crescent City . . Author: 3rdswitch . . even though it rained with no sun at all today in New Orleans, LA, I poked around the east side of town finding a few things of note.
top: A New Orleans Public Belt job was switching a yard on the east side of town. middle: Nearby a once unlikely pair (now days anything goes) were tucked away on a spur a little south of the above yard. bottom: With a post a few days ago about stop signs and manual gates guarding railroad crossing diamonds this one quards the crossing of NOPB's main track with a branch or short line (?) heading south out of town.
