35N and the Wabash out of the Fog
Author: NS62590

Got a surprise text this morning at 10am from Scott (OhioRails) to look on Facebook and see the post about the Wabash F unit heading west today but that it was already through Rochester. Though hesitant, I got right out of bed and flew trackside. The 15 minute drive from home in Austintown to the tracks in Leetonia turned out to be PERFECT timing as I was driving on 344 when I heard the detector go off sooooo off I went up to the 344 bridge, and was able to get some good shots and video of the train coming out of the foggy morning. Hearing some chatter on the scanner of a busy midday to unfold, I stuck around the area before heading home to get work done for the day. Here's what I saw:

1) Full consist of 35N coming out of the fog in Leetonia, OH
2) Roster shot of the Wabash F unit
3) Video of 35N

4) After the fog lifted, sun tries to peek out for 21Z to head west through Leetonia
5) Another whacky consist, this one featured on 12X eastbound through Leetonia
6) 412 coke train westbound with a BNSF green and cream unit third out.
