Could rail be used to transport any of this, or would this be more of a "local use" project for drilling companies?

The belief among some observers is the high pressure injection of drilling waste water in some strata causes earthquakes. But this often happens in areas where earthquakes are historically expected.

I haven't seen any credible scientific agreement that fracking causes serious earthquakes. Eco-watch and the Tom Steyer groups have attempted to make the argument, though.

None of those eathquakes caused any damages. They were all minor low strength quakes

Determine where the closest refineries are to the fracking area. Then determine where the closest pipelines are and determine in which direction they are currently used. Once that is done see how much trouble it would be to tie into those existing pipelines available row and housing development . For rail figure out where it can be loaded where it will go and how it will get there !!!! Not that simple. --------------Ken

You can be sure that all the eco-lobbyists in the state of MD will block anything like this drilling. And they will speak in holy and righteous tones about their care for the earth.
