http://www.nsdash9.com/rosters/2797.html NS 2797 (former NYSW 4050) has been repainted, but has not yet been released. Chris Toth NSDash9.com Date: 10/24/14 13:29 Re: ex NYSW now NS2798 SD70M Author: cjvrr Chris,
Any details on the repairs needed to each? NYS&W fan claim they were rode hard and put away wet and needed quite an extensive rebuild. Seems like the NS folks worked some magic on them pretty quickly. Best of luck with them! I haven't heard specifics on what exactly was done, but I did hear that they weren't as bad as was first thought. Chris Date: 10/24/14 16:31 Re: ex NYSW now NS2798 SD70M Author: pal77 NSDash9 Wrote:

But at least they are back on the road doing what they were originally bought for hauling stacks. I'd heard that one went to the FEC with a missing traction motor. The FEC sent them home without touching them. It's nice to see them working hard again.
