Hello. It has been slow the last two days between Altoona and Lewistown. Here are a few shots.

1)A mix of power rests at Juniata.
2)New NS old BNSF power.

34N came eb thru Berea, OH today with five more ex-bnsf power for Altonna.

Amazing how fast they got those 3 NYSW motor up, painted n working in out on the road. After sitting for so many years i thought it would take months in a major rebuild to get them in shape to pull freight. Yet here they or, not only working but leading. Kudos to NS shop forces.

Any one know what the MBTA units are doing at Juniata? Rebuild?

the brand new MBTA locos are getting traction motor bearings replaced after some units had failures.

A very capable shop that knows how to maintain these. Lets see if the FEC ones come to NS also.
