Eastern Railroad Discussion > Durand, MI Short Lines

I was down in Durand yesterday to watch the trains. There was lots of CN action and I
also caught the two short lines that run through Durand: Huron and Eastern and Great Lakes
Central. I'll usually see HESR, but yesterday I caught it with the G&W liveried engine,
and I also caught GLC returning from the south. GLC's return caught me unaware until I
looked down the track: I had the radio turned down so that it would not get into the
videos that I was shooting. I guess I should try an ear phone next time ;-)

That's the first time I've seen (in video or in real life) a train crossing the slow route on an OWLS diamond. It does tend to bounce them a bit, doesn't it?
