Some traveling around the Hudson Valley of NY over the past month or so with some photo highlights.....Last Saturday morning up at the Walkway over the Hudson at Highland, NY.....A Southbound CSX Q010 snakes through the curvature on the CSX River Sub....Dave Williams

A forecasted sunny afternoon turned cloudy at Fort Montgomery, NY on Tuesday as a BNSF Warbonnet led a K042 South through Fort Montgomery, NY....Dave W

A visit to the Catskill Mountain Railroad at Mt Tremper NY last Saturday....

The town of Mt. Tremper is named after the Mountain seen in the background behind the station in the Catskills of NY 22 miles Northwest of Kingston, NY.....Mt Tremper is over 2700 feet in elevation....twice as high as Bear Mountain....

And finally.....CSX Q010 rolls South through the new CP-36 interlocking at Stony Point, NY on Tuesday....Dave Williams.

That abandoned structure was a conveyor for a gravel/sand pit to load barges....Dave W

Thanks....A dry spell in Sept into October in this area had stressed alot of trees..Trees started changing and dropping in mid September...Then we started seeing rain again and the trees that managed to stay green through the dry spell have been giving color....Dave W
