Though the "partly sunny" forecast never came close to even seeing where the sun was in the sky at least the darker clouds had moved on and typical Ohio November grey prevailed in New London this morning as Q357 closed in on my location there. This series of shots shows the classic CSX EMD's bringing the seven new FEC ES44C4's to their new home. A well timed arrival of Q022 avoided having to switch sides (which wouldn't have been a problem with the clouds!) and provided a "meet shot" going away. After this they parked at Greenwich for a while and then pulled around the corner for their spot in the "Willard parking lot" before eventually making it into the yard.

I agree! Don't need a "sunny and 75" kind of day for great shots.

Slightly OT: Anyone have an idea which way they will be routed? Kind of curious if they'll head this way or not.

The first two went via Cincinnati and Knoxville, I'd expect these to do the same.
