Z642 is ABC, sub of W&LE, railroads train ID on CSX New castle Sub working in the Akron, Ohio area and Monday I shot the Z642 through Akron taking a cut of
loaded limestone Hoppers the National Lime and Stone in south Akron behind the old Firestone Tire and Rubber factory. I did several videos and pieces together
this short Video first part had camera on the ground the second part had camera 270 feet up, Drone.
Have several other video clips later.

Here's another clip of the Z642 on the way to National Lime and Stone as it Passes through Akron followed by a late day Q299
coming west through Akron. These Drone videos were shot without prop guards on the Drone, I like livin' on the edge...lol

Nice quality videos. However, it's a bit like watching watching an old silent movie.
I hope the technology will be developed soon that these videos can include sound because
I prefer "talkies".

Alan, congratulations on VOTD. Real nice videos and no prop guards in your videos, big improvement. You even managed to get a little sun. Still waiting here in southwestern PA for the sun.

Nice videos and congratulations on the VOTD. Couldn't help but thinking that I would have crashed the drone inside one of the hoppers with my lousy flying skills, have crashed my little RC helicopter (and almost lost it) in some weird spots.

On the limestone trains, are they delivering loads and picking up empties then?

Thanks, I have paid my "dues" with the learning curve with and my share of crashes $$$
and yes they drop off loaded hoppers and take back empties.

The videos are terrific , but I can't help but think these drones can be just so damn intrusive.
