NS 1071 updates?
Author: dan7366

Any updates on whether it is still in Ohio or not? One of two I have left, the other being Conrail. Thanks in advance.

I think a lot of us here in the east need the Conrail.

I know the frustration. I do have all the units but still need the PRR as a leader. To get all of them the first time, (several in-trail) took just a bit less than two years.

My point, is hang in you'll eventually get them all and I think the "wait" gives you a greater sense of accomplishment than if you were able to snag all of them in a short time.

I can tell you hunting downs the engines was a lot more enjoyable when I hadn't seen them all, now that I have seen them all it it's still fun but not as big dog a deal anymore if I'm not in a position to catch it

It's sorta funny, I live in an area that sees them regularly, maybe not as often as the Chicago Line/Pittsburgh Line of course, but more often than say, Upstate New York.

2+ years in, and there's 2 of them I've not even seen, much less taken a photo of, the CNJ and VGN... several of them, I've seen but not leading a train. Usually just mixed into a consist.
