Ns Operation Lifersaver in Marion
Author: 3rdRail

It arived around 9:00 am this morning headed to Bellevue. It stopped in Marion to let on some selected people as well as some law enforcent personal. Missed it on the way back and didn't chase it, so I'm not sure how many or if they caught people running the gates. They did have a few lead police, Sheriffs and SHP though.
The first pic is of the train, everyone boarded on the other side.
The 2nd is a close up of the camera mounted right up front.
The 3rd was someone just getting a birds eye view or maybe a calling the signals.

I encountered the train Tuesday as it stopped for lunch in Bryan, OH. At that time, they hadn't caught anyone, so it's good to hear their effort paid off.

Not sure what road on the first violation, believe South of Bucyrus near SR 98. Second was a commercial tractor-trailer stopping with the crossing gate resting on top of the tractor right at the baording site in Bucyrus. Apparently the four trooper cars sitting next to the track changed his mind about crossing, just a little too late.

Cool pics and many thanks for sharing. You'd think that train would have more than one car though. That's the shortest Operation Lifesaver train I've seen.
