Doesn't 33A work Enola?

Yes it does. How long that takes though is anyone's guess.

33A is Baltimore, MD to Allentown, PA

It's 50/50 that the power relays through Enola to Allentown. 33A usually departs Enola mid/late afternoon.

Could be a neat morning tomorrow in Allentown with the CNJ and DLW coming back from Hazelton today, the PRR leading a 16N according to HU, and these two units if they make it to Allentown after working Enola.

Meanwhile, I'll state my preference for the power relaying to something else in Enola that gets to Toledo on Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday's supposed to be really nice around here. Thursday, not so much.

Good luck to the railfans wherever it goes. This is a primo power set and I hope it stays together awhile.

I'd like to offer my thanks to the NS motive power managers who seem to be making these combinations happen more frequently. And to the power desk that seems to find time at the wash rack for these units.

Power off of 33A is currently sitting in front of the yard office. Right along the road. Visible.

hopefully it gets taken off that and put back on a stacker to Chicago, otherwise this duo means nothing to me anymore :(

As with others, I'd be perfectly happy to see the Conrail/PC pair bounce back & forth between Chicago & the east cost on van/stack trains for the next couple months... (Give a lot of people a chance to get a nice sunny shot of them somewhere perhaps)

What's the latest on this pair, are they still in Enola?
Thanks!

Somebody just posted a picture on Flickr of NS 8098, NS 1073, and NS 1011 in Enola Yard. I presume they are still there. In the photo, they were not attached to a train.
