Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS 80 and 90 MAC questionsDate: 01/27/15 07:38 NS 80 and 90 MAC questions Author: NKP715 Looking at Chris Toth's site, the 90MAC's have
been slow coming from the UP; seemed to be coming at a pretty good pace for a while. What's status? Re. the 80MAC's from CSXT - what's status here, also. Date: 01/27/15 08:28 Re: NS 80 and 90 MAC questions Author: NSDash9 The SD90's continue to be delivered from EMD and the process will continue over the next several months.
The latest on the SD80 trade is that negotiations on an exact deal are still ongoing. Chris Toth NSDash9.com Date: 01/27/15 08:47 Re: NS 80 and 90 MAC questions Author: MitchGDRMCo Whether or not it's 23 or 24 SD40-2s for the SD80s? :P

We need those SD40 rebuilds. I really don't see how one SD80MAC is worth almost 2 SD40-2s. One can do a lot more railroading with the two SD40-2s. Date: 01/27/15 17:44 Re: NS 80 and 90 MAC questions Author: Off-pending ARandall70 Wrote:

You will never get promoted with that kind of forward thinking. I still think turning back the 5500's was a big mistake. Could help problems in KC. Date: 01/28/15 03:49 Re: NS 80 and 90 MAC questions Author: NSDTK I'm personally glad the 5500s were sold off. They were getting bad to work with. No power , throwing oil every where.
