Eastern Railroad Discussion > Lucky 7's -- 777 w/ Reading 1067Date: 01/27/15 11:13 Lucky 7's -- 777 w/ Reading 1067 Author: steamfan Thanks to an earlier tip from fellow TO'er "dan7366", I was able to intercept the Reading 1067 leading hopper train 777 on the ex-Reading Lurgan line.
In pic #1, 1067 rolls east approaching signal 6E on the Lurgan, kicking up some of the fresh powder. Pic #2 -- After a stop in Harrisburg, 777 continues it's journey west on the Pittsburgh line. The train has just passed MP116 as an eastbound 20K can be seen in the distance. I had initially set up near signal 116, but hearing 20K approaching, it was a quick move to the old Cove diner area that worked out fairly well.
