NS H68 on Reading Line with CNJ and Lackawanna

2. Long Swamp (east of Mertztown).
3. Passing Mertztown Station.

Thank you all for the kind words. We were very fortunate to have an ideal situation: fresh snow, the first day with blue sky in ages, two heritage units on the same train plus the CP for added measure, and a very slow trip at about 10mph from Alburtis to Fleetwood allowing for a leisurely chase and time to set up for the photos. Had the train run at normal track speed, we would have been lucky to get two shots.

My pop was ticked that he missed this move yesterday. He was walking between the Alta's plant office and his shipping building right about the time you took the Mertztown photo. He was just out of view to the left in your shot.
