Eastern Railroad Discussion > Feeling a Bit Blue in BereaDate: 01/28/15 14:42 Feeling a Bit Blue in Berea Author: Lakota-rail Todays westbound 27N was suppose to be a repeat performance of the CR/PC heritage combination. A not too crowded Berea Ohio seen some railfans patiently waiting. When 27N arrived at Rockport east of Berea they were told to drop off two units, one of them being the PC, the other the 1011. So the Berea gang seen a "single" unit 27N moving along courtesy of the CR Blues.
Here she is passing through Olmstead Falls toward a now setting sun. Earlier in the week a GATX switcher number 74 came bopping by. Can't complain, they could have set off both Heritage Units.
