A couple shots of the NS Z6X
Author: herbsommers

A thank you to Train30 for your post today about the first loaded crude oil tanker to travel the length of the Fort Wayne Line. I’ve been down there several times looking for some decent places to shoot and decided with today’s forecast that I would do it again.

First the 16E shot about 4 miles east of Bucyrus. Then I read your message and headed west.

Here is the Z6X a bit west of Lafayette and again at Dunkirk. Not exactly a beautiful train!

Herbsommers FYI they increased the speed today to 40 east of Fort Wayne. Just so you know in case your travels bring you back this way.
