I was able to catch them departing the yard and at the next crossing.

It still has no ditch lights. Gerry Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/29/15 09:42 by GPutz. Date: 01/29/15 10:24 Re: W003-29 CSX Geometry Train with 9969 leading Author: rwa14 GPutz Wrote:

The gyralight is considered sufficient. What I'm more surprised at is CSX elected to keep gyralight as it has more moving parts (actually has a motor to rotate the light fixture) than the simple wiring of ditch lights. But hey, I'm not complaining! Just like Metra, those lights look amazing. Rob Posted from Android Date: 01/29/15 10:34 Re: W003-29 CSX Geometry Train with 9969 leading Author: ClubCar GPutz Wrote:

That's a horrible color scheme that they no longer use and I am so glad of that. It never looked good with their passenger cars. Thanks for posting your photo Gerry. Uncle Joe, The gyralight is the top headlights, go to this video to see it... http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?2,3645526 Date: 01/30/15 09:47 Re: W003-29 CSX Geometry Train with 9969 leading Author: NebraskaZephyr Did anyone else notice the 9969 has a light blue roof with a thin yellow separator stripe to match the cars? The executive F40s don't have this feature, do they?
Wondering, NZ Date: 01/31/15 12:58 Re: W003-29 CSX Geometry Train with 9969 leading Author: FEC2000 Yes the 9969 is painted to match the cars. I don't think the F40s are painted with that stripe.
