Eastern Railroad Discussion > Silver Meteor #98 at Hollywood FL

I was pleased to photograph the northbound Meteor - on time at Hollywood - this morning with units 156 (ATK 40th anniversary) 112 and cars 25108 61007 61005 61004 25081 25048 25088 28009 8530 62033 62009 62021 1708 and 61009. Note the the d/h Viewliner baggage cars and the trailing one which, I gather, was in service. Three photos are attached. After The ATK photos were bracketed by a sb CSX freight with 2 GE's and an ety rock train with SD70AC's 4799 and 4768. Then it was off to IHOP for their free pancake day in support of a worthy children's charity. Bill

Nice pics!! I LIKE Pic 1!!

I assume the extra baggage cars are heading north to be placed into service, so perhaps some of us midwesterners might get a shot at seeing them at some point, unless they're going to be captive to Amtrak trains along the eastern seaboard.

I suspect 49 will have some. Based on my knowledge of Amtrak (which is not all too much).
