NS 1071 (CNJ) updates?
Author: dschlegel

There's a report of the CNJ unit leading a 61N on HU through Duncannon PA around 10am this morning. I'm not familiar with that train symbol and would appreciate any updates on this units location/routing today.
Thanks!
Dan

61N goes to Camden, NJ

This site has the symbols for trains passing through Pennsylvania.

Last I heard it had pulled up to the fuel pad in Harrisburg. I have not heard it leave yet.

New crew is onboard, all fueled up and was given the okay to "drop down to Harrisburg." Good luck.

61N is an empty slab gondola train destined for loading at Holt in Gloucester,NJ ... Holt's loading yard is just north of the Walt Whitman Bridge and can be seen from above going wb over the WW bridge into Philly ... Holt just added another siding in their loading yard ... they can't quite load an entire 70 car train at one time but close save about 10-15 cars with 2 long siding capacity at approx 18 cars ea. and 2 shorter sidings with approx 11 car capacity ea. ... the yard gets spotted by local Conrail crews out of Camden ...
