Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS 056 (RBB&B circus train) on the Lehigh Line

Here is my video of NS 056, moving the RBB&B circus train from its venue from East Rutherford down to its next performance in Alabama.  Not sure when the train would be rolling west, so I opted for a spot that wouldn't be too harsh on a morning westbound train and still be relatively close to home.  I also wanted a nice straightaway to show the train's impressive length.  I opted for Manville, NJ along the NS Lehigh Line.  I was able to even catch a few CSX trains coming up the Trenton Line in the morning.  After a morning lull, the NS trains picked up.  The prize train was the circus train and as the old expression goes, patience is a virtue.   Some information from fellow railfans and a call from a friend confirming some scanner chatter confirmed the train was getting close.  The train was powered by a SD70M-2 and a Dash 9.  The skies were bright and sunny, but the winds from the northwest kept things chilly today.  The third time was the charm for me in seeing the train as it moved through NJ the past two months.  Hope you enjoy the video.
