Unless they significantly rearrange the Great lakes desks, it won't work.

Untill the interior is cleaned out, F Tower isn't closed, it's simply un-staffed or open "As Needed".  HAROLD tower has been in this same sort of limbo for 20 years now.

Am I reading this correctly, that the "F" Tower closing has been put off until April 15?

I believe the April 15 date referred to 2011.

The IP dispatcher has enough on their plate now add F tower to the equation!  It's gonna be ugly!!
WHEN it fails, I hope they terminate all those involved!  They want to save money cut more unnessesary office jobs in Jackwagonville!  Wall Street even said they are still top heavy!

Since the "closure" is reversible this could be a means to shake down NS (if they bear the brunt of the delays).

M&W has been told no track time on Willard sub March 30,31 and April 1 so the changeover goes smoothly. Will make things interesting with every other day inspections.

Once again railroad management put out a procedure "no track time for 3 concective days" that goes against policy "track repair and inspection". Hope a broken rail doesnt come up at wrong time???

A broken rail is a little different than track time for simple maintenance.

April 15, 2011 was the date the timetable was effective.

Well...im sure farmer would agree that track inspection is a good part of daily maintenance. Finding track defects keep the bad stuff away.
