Iowa Pacific Holdings Likely to Operate Piedmont & Northern Rwy

North Carolina DOT and Iowa Pacific Holdings have now agreed in principle to a lease agreement for rail service on NCDOT’s Piedmont & Northern rail corridor in Gaston County west of Charlotte.

Note the right to run excursion trains.
