Before W&LE service, D&RGW 5413
Author: highgreengraphics

Here is D&RGW 5413 reverberating across the Santa Fe-marked bridge at Larkspur, CO on June 4, 2001 with three matched mates, filling the valley with blue smoke furiously pulling the MDVPU (Manifest, Denver, CO to Pueblo, CO) uphill on Colorado's Joint Line, unaware at this point that a second career awaits it much farther east, who would have imagined Ohio? Now this is an interesting. I have seen the W&LE # 5413 at Westland, PA. bringing empty tanks into Mark West Liberty's yard. Nice to see the Sante Fe herald on the bridge in your photo.

I posted this image recently and hope it's not too soon again, but here's 5413 on the Wheeling & Lake Erie on April 12, 2105 backing a train into Rook Yard in Greentree, PA.
