I'm fresh off my trip from Altoona, Pennsylvania! We had an excellent time and saw a lot of trains. I captured a lot of pictures and video and have a ton of good memories. Here's a small sampling of what I captured.... 1) Gallitzin Tunnels 2) Horseshoe Curve 3) Cresson Date: 05/19/15 18:16 Re: Adventures in Pennsylvania Author: v1perfan Date: 05/19/15 18:20 Re: Adventures in Pennsylvania Author: v1perfan I also found a pretty cool function on my camera I never even used before (my brother pointed it out to me). Take a look at these two pictures. One is an original shot. The other uses a function called "minature" that makes the shot appear to look like a model train. I thought it was pretty cool!

Date: 05/20/15 15:04 Re: Adventures in Pennsylvania Author: v1perfan Yep, that's what it was....to be honest it was a bit monotonous seeing the same road over and over. I did see one UP unit and this New Haven unit but other than that it was the rearing horse.
Ohwell, it was a great time nonetheless. I'd rather see the same road than nothing at all. |
