Trio of UP on oil cans ... not a wing in sight.

A trio of older UP GEs lead K153 westbound at Shen on the old B&O.  Not one has a wing on the nose.  :-(

NS 228 had 9043 MAC leading ... it is cleaner than the normal UP units we see in the east.  ;-)

 Isn't it amazing just how much difference the wings on the nose make ???

These units look so plain without what we now have come to expect in most cases .....

Somewhere along the way it lost one of its units and became K053......

Seen here at Diamond St Ravenna, OH this afternoon.
