Any work windows on the Pokey sub the first week of June?
Author: Fireman424

I will be picking up my grandson the first week of June and have about three days to railfan. I was going to hit the Pokey sub (Bluefield, W.Va.)and try and shoot the CPL's before they drop them. Anyone know if there are any work windows in the area as I would like to actually shoot some trains instead of them all coming right at dark. Appreciate any help,
Thanks in advance,
Randy Allard

The CPL's on that line are falling pretty fast. I hope that they at least last through the rest of the year. What do you mean by work window?

last time I was down there they had a maintenance of way work window and trains were being held until after 6pm and in the mountains your light is gone by then most of the time, even in the summer.
