Last heritage unit in the lead PRR 8102 in Ohio
Author: WLE2679

Hello.

We went out to do some errands and to eat and tried to catch the PRR on 66W on the way home.   Waited a little longer than anticapted and left Orrville, but received a text further on the way home from a friend that it was on the move, so caught it at a first time place in Smithville.  Don't really photograph this line at all, so we stayed til it came along.

1)Helpers drift west at Orrville.  Found out later that these pushed 66W.
2)12V arrives with a nice lashup of power.
3)Going past the tower at Orrville.  (I made a mental note to move the cone, but forgot)

More to come.

In Smithville a work train grinds past, eastbound with a clean leader, followed by 66W grinding past also on the other track .   Some nice box cars in the work train and crew cars.  (this one is the kitchen)

66W grinds past.  Have seen this unit a few times, but this was my last heritage unit I hadn't seen in the lead.

I believe the work train was 936. I remember hearing it get permission to leave Mansfield around  2:30 p.m. as I was heading out of town, done with my 66W chase.
